Albert Dominick Zambotti

Albert Zambotti, 93, passed away Tuesday following a short illness.

Born in Weston, he was the son of the late Otilia [Ottilia Anna Genetti] and Peter [Pietro] Zambotti.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie [Babulak].

He lived most of his life in Metuchan, N.J., where he worked for the Johns Manville Corporation. He moved back to the Hazleton area five years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from Fierro Funeral Home, Hazleton. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, West Hazleton. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday.

Webmaster’s Note: Albert was a first generation American and the youngest child of Tillie Genetti and Pietro Zambotti, who immigrated from Castelfondo, Tyrol. He was the last living member of his immediate family.
