My father Robert and brother Roy were a cousin to one of the Genettl sons whose name was Robert Genetti.
My name is Jace Allen, I am the great-great- grandson of Thomas and Angela Marchett”e” from Castlefondo. I am sure you have the correct spelling of Marchett”i”. But I would love to contact you and see what else you know, and how we might be related!
Hey, James, I just read this. I was the gal who wrote above. I took over the house there in Ironwood where my uncle (Robert) lived, after he passed away. I have looked for your grandmother’s house, as we used to visit her when I was growing up (my dad called her Aunt Zia for us, so we knew her by that name), but cannot locate it. Was the house removed? Changed? New owners (I suppose)? My grandmother, Cattarina, was your grandmother’s sister. I knew my Uncle Robert was very good friends with the men on your side of family. ‘Sounds like they had many good times.
Did you perchance know of a Clemente Marchetti ? In either Ironwood or Hurley? He was my great grandmothers Brother and Im trying to connect on ancesty. My Grt Grandmothers name is Anna Maria Marchetti, married to an Ossana and then a Piccinelli Thank you, Erin

Hi Marlene, thank you for leaving a comment. However, I don’t see any contact information in your post of how people can get in touch with you. Also – most people don’t read comments left on this website. If you are interested in writing a guest blog post explaining your project along with the type of stories you are looking for and your contact email, I would be happy to post it on our website. Let me know what you think of this idea by sending me a message using the form on our Contact page and I will respond via email. Louise Genetti Roach, webmaster
