I had my father, Robert Marchetti, who was the the son of Joseph Marchetti and Virginia Carozza (marchetti) Virgnias sister name unknow was married to a Genetti all were from Ironwood Michigan and came from Castlefondo. My father Robert and brother Roy were a cousin to one of the Genettl sons whose name was Robert Genetti.

Hey, James, I just read this. I was the gal who wrote above. I took over the house there in Ironwood where my uncle (Robert) lived, after he passed away. I have looked for your grandmother’s house, as we used to visit her when I was growing up (my dad called her Aunt Zia for us, so we knew her by that name), but cannot locate it. Was the house removed? Changed? New owners (I suppose)? My grandmother, Cattarina, was your grandmother’s sister. I knew my Uncle Robert was very good friends with the men on your side of family. ‘Sounds like they had many good times.

my name is Marlene Marchetti and I am the great great grandchild of Giuseppe Giovanni Marchetti, who was the father of Giuseppe Giovanni (married to Viriginia Corazza) and the the father of Luigi Valentino, my great grandpa.
