It was wonderful seeing so many of you this past October at our Genetti family reunion in Wilkes-Barre. Reconnecting, sharing our stories, and celebrating our shared heritage is always an absolute joy, and it is the true heart of genealogical work.
For those who were able to attend the reunion, you might remember the special premiere of two new family history documentaries. I am thrilled to announce that these videos are now officially published on our website and available for everyone to enjoy!
You can find both of them by heading over to the Gallery section of our family website on the Video page: https://genettifamily.com/videos/
Here is a little bit about what you will find:
The Ancestry of the Genetti Family This video offers a sweeping look at our deep historical roots, tracing the lineage, legacy, and enduring spirit that connects all of us. From our early origins in Castelfondo to the courageous journeys our ancestors made to build a new life, this presentation is a visual celebration of the generations that paved the way for our family today.
A Tale of Two Siblings A more intimate historical portrait, this video explores a deeply personal chapter of our family’s narrative. It highlights the poignant journey, shared resilience, and enduring bond of three orphaned siblings as they navigated the challenges of their era and the hardships that befell them.
Because I know many of you are fellow history buffs who love details, I have also included a full PDF transcript for each video right on the web page. These are the exact transcripts used in the creation of the documentaries. You can easily download them to read along, reference specific dates and names, or save them for your own personal research records.
Please head over to the website, grab a warm cup of coffee, and enjoy these new additions to our digital family archive. I would love to hear your thoughts, so please feel free to reach out or leave a comment after you watch them.
Warmly,
Louise Genetti Roach
