Widow of Leon Genetti Dies – Mrs. Angeline Genetti, of 438 South Poplar Street, died suddenly at her home at 7:25 p.m. Monday.
She was the widow of Leon A. Genetti, Sr., who was a member of Genetti’s Supermarkets, Inc. Mr. Genetti died in March 1962. Their daughter, Mrs. Adeline Kashi, died in May, 1962.
Mrs. Genetti was born in Nuremberg, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Catherine Fellin) Marchetti.
She was a resident of Hazleton the greater part of her life and was a member of St. Gabriel’s Church.
Sons and daughters surviving are Mrs. Rita Young, Mrs. Catherine Farkus, John Genetti, Leon Genetti, Jr., all of Hazleton; Joseph Genetti, of Fort Dix, N.J. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Turri, Bridgeport, Conn.; Mrs. Olive Yannes, Freeland; Mrs. Catherine Bringenberg, West Hazleton and Mrs. Joseph Hayden, Sybertsville.
The funeral will be held from the Boyle Funeral Home, 100 South Wyoming Street, Thursday at 9 a.m. with a solemn high mass of requiem in St. Gabriel’s Church at 9:30 a.m. and interment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
