Herman Angelo Genetti, 84, was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming, on May 29, 1922 and passed away March 31, 2007 after a lengthy illness. He leaves his wife, Imogene, of almost 63 years; one sone, George Genetti and wife Brenda of Sebastopol, California; two granddaughters, one grandson and one great granddaughter; one sister, Elizabeth Simpson in Medford, Oregon, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Roger, a little brother Bobby Genetti and brother Joe Genetti.
He will be buried in the family plot in the Viola Cemetery at LaBarge, Wyoming. He moved to Amarillo, Texas, in 1992 after retiring from the fence post business where he supplied posts for most of the ranchers, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management.
Everyone loved to hear his stories about old times. Many times he was told he should write a book, so after he moved to Amarillo he wrote two books. His whole life was spent working and helping others. He never asked anyone to do anything he would not do himself and many did not stand the test.
