Leo A. Zambotti, of Hollars Hill, died early Wednesday morning (June 30, 1993), at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Weston, he was the son of the late Peter and Tillie (Genetti) Zambotti and resided in the Hazleton area all his life.
He operated Genetti’s Mink Ranch for many years, and was employed as a construction worker for the Carpenters Union prior to his retiremet.
He was a World War II Army veteran, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Hazleton, and the Tirolesi Alpini.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a sister, Leona.
Surviving are his wife, the former Erma Ripple; daughter, Mrs. John (Judy) Malloy, Hollars Hill; a sister, Mrs. Lewis (Elizabeth) Reich, Milnesville; a brother, Albert, Metuchen, N.J.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Fierro Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, West Hazleton.
