Peter S. Zambotti, Weston, a retired miner, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of eight months.
Born in Tyrol, a son of the late Simon and Catherine Zambotti, he had resided in Hazleton before locating in Weston 52 years ago.
The deceased was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Weston, and the United Mine Workers of America.
Surviving are his wife, the former Tillie Genetti, two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Elizabeth) Reich, Milnesville; Leona, at home; two sons, Leo, Hollars Hill; Albert, Metuchen, N.J.; five grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Victor Tolotti, Brockton; Mrs. Daniel Segna, Paramount, Calif.; and Mrs. Joseph Piazzi, Castelfondo, Tyrol.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Harman Funeral Home, Rock Glen. Requiem high mass will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph F. Meir, at 9:30 in Sacred Heart Church, Weston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
