Vivian E. Genetti, RD 1 Stone Craft Manor, Drums, died Tuesday afternoon at the Butler Valley Manor Nursing Home, Drums.
Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Nora Dasher Kummerer.
Mrs. Genetti resided in the Drums area all her life. She was a 1929 graduate of Hazle Township High School and she graduated from the Geisinger Nursing School in Danville in 1934.
She worked in the nursing profession all her life and retired as the director of nursing at the Butler Valley Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Good Shephard Roman Catholic Church, Drums, and the Drums Garden Club.
A brother, Joseph, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Albert L., with whom she celebrated a 50th anniversary in January, two sons, Ralph, Copley, Ohio; and Lawrence, Philadelphia; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Hilary J. Bonin Funeral Home, 99 W. Green St., West Hazelton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. from the Good Shepherd Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A vigil service will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph Weber at 8:30 p.m.
