Elizabeth Catherine Zambotti Reich

Elizabeth Catherine Reich, 83, Box 122, Milnesville, died Thursday morning (Nov. 2, 1995) at Hazleton General Hospital.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Tillie (Genetti) Zambotti.

Reich was a 1927 graduate of Rock Glen High School.

She was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Harleigh.

Reich was employed in the bakery department at the former Genetti’s supermarket in Hazleton.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother, Leo Zambotti, and a sister, Leona Zambotti.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Lewis; children, Conrad Reich, Moore, Okla.; Olivia Hearn, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Joseph (Ann Marie) Shelby, Hazleton; and Lewis, Shreveport, La.; a brother, Albert Zambotti, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral will be held at 9 am Monday from the Boyle Funeral Home, 100 S. Wyoming St., Hazleton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am from the Church of the Sacred Heart, Harleigh, at 9:30 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.

Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 9 pm.

Donations may be made to Catholic Social Services and the Meals on Wheels Program.

The funeral of Elizabeth Catherine Reich, of Box 122, Milnesville, who died Thursday morning at Hazleton General Hospital, was held Monday from the Boyle Funeral Home, Hazleton.

The Rev. Frank Homets and the Rev. Michael Delaney celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Harleigh. Delaney offered the blessing at the chapel in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.

The honorary pallbearers were Henry Reich, nephew; and Nathan and Joel Hearn, and Peter, Danny, Jason and Christopher Reich, all grandsons.

The pallbearers were Joe Reich and John Malloy, both nephews; and John Coladonate, Gino Nardon and Bill and Gus Genetti.
