Karen Z. Walsh, 63, of Kutztown passed away July 6th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest [PA]. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Emma (Bott) Zamco. Karen was a volunteer head nurse at the Bethany Church free clinic in Allentown for the past eight years. As a registered nurse, she was very passionate and dedicated about nursing and helped literally thousands of people at the church clinic. She will be deeply missed by the church, its staff and her many patients.
Karen will also by missed by her son Michael and wife Brynn, son David; sisters Cheryl and Paula and her five grandchildren and extended family. She was predeceased by her son Adam.
A memorial service for Karen will be announced shortly.
